You were given the "Beginning of School Year Success Criteria" at the end of our first class. It has tasks on it that are to be completed between now and Friday, 9/13(A) or Monday, 9/16 (B).

The two I suggest you complete before next class are:
*Finish responding to the questions you'd like to answer on the 1st Day Student Survey. You can turn it in at the beginning of the next class.

*Give your parents/guardians/support people the Day 1 Family Letter on pg. 3 of your  packet. Read it together and sign the bottom of the backside. Show Profe the signature at the beginning of the next class. 

*Feel free to start completing other tasks on the list if you have the time!

The one task I suggest you complete before next class  is to get a binder, 5 dividers & paper & bring to class every day.

If you have time, you might want to start on some of the other tasks as well:  Review the Spanish 1 Course Syllabus with a parent/guardian/support person at home. Have the same adult complete the Spanish 1 Support Person Google Form.  Make sure you and your support people have signed up to communicate via the Remind app.

It should be gender neutral and plural.All words with the suffix -ista are gender neutral in Spanish!

Examples:
*Prepare for the Adjectives Listening Quiz: Use the two strategies described on the Day 8 of Unit 1 Homework sheet.
*Practice your conversational skills in Spanish. Use your Day 9 Guided Notes and work with a partner. 
*Improve your recognition of the Spanish ABC letter sounds using  your pink ABCs sheet or the resources under Day 6 above.
*Practice spelling words, including your names.
*Add to your adjectives vocabulary by continuing to do the A/B partner activity from Day 9's lesson using the 4 survival questions to translate and spell in Spanish and the gold/pink sheets and/or the Quizlet set under Day 9.

Please note: This was a video Señora Moore made for her students a few years ago when they were learning virtually. Some of what she says doesn’t connect to how our class is set up this year, but the large parts where she teaches the concepts of gender and quantity are the same! Also, we have more vocabulary words in our basic list that the students did that school year.
